We explored the feasibility of expanding the current Lyndon School in order to accommodate spaces for grades 4-6. An added challenge was to manipulate the massing to fit in with the surrounding residential neighborhood.
After establishing programmatic needs and reviewing Department of Education guidelines, three schematic designs were tested. A full cost estimation of each scheme was produced. The study proved that expansion was feasible.
